UPDATE: Was Natalie Wood murdered? New information in a 30 year case

Actress Natalie Wood died from drowning 30 years ago when she was 43 years old on November 29, 1981. She had been drinking with husband Robert Wagner and their friend Christopher Walken on a yacht (who she may or may not have been having an affair with), and at some point fell overboard. The official story was that it was an accident, but there was speculation that she might have thrown herself in the water because she was distraught over a fight with Wagner. Now there is a third possibility: she may have been murdered.

Natalie’s sister Lana Wood and Dennis Davern, Natalie’s yacht captain on that fateful night were pushing for the police to reopen the case last year. November 17, 2011 the L.A.P.D. said homicide investigators will be looking at “additional information” about the drowning.

Everyone remembers the shocking moment when Kim Richards’ own sister accused her of being an alcoholic during the season finale of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Then, after they wrapped filming, Kim went to rehab, but checked herself out after a week.

But when the new season started filming again, Kim seemed more out of it than ever. She misses many of the pre-arranged Housewives engagements, and when she’s there, she’s late and appears intoxicated. Sometimes she slurs her words, appears more animated than normal, and during the infamous “game night,” she went to the bathroom numerous times; leading Brandi Glanville to accuse her of being on meth. She’s also been cagey with her sister Kyle about the details of an impending move, which turned out to be her trepidation about introducing sister Kyle to her new boyfriend Ken.
