The Georgia-born party gal was arrested early this morning after officers found her and her mangled Jeep Wrangler near a downed telephone pole. Amanda reportedly blew a .20 on a breathalyzer and answered an officer’s question of how much she had to drink by saying, “three beers and four shots.”

Occidental College sentenced rapist to… a book report?

Occidental College in Los Angeles is facing a law suit accusing the institution of having a history of handing out less than severe punishments to students found guilty of sexual assault, including one instance in which a man who was found guilt of a sexual assault was sentenced to writing a five-page book report. A second man was required to apologize to his victim and resign from campus leadership positions. Other students found guilty were expelled but allowed to re-enroll after their victim either left the school or graduated. Keep reading for details on the suit as well as video from the press conference with Gloria Allred and a number of the victims. There are also some rather startling statistics on campus rape — a nationwide epidemic that, despite numerous efforts and programs to raise awareness, has seen little to no decline over the last five decades.
