Parenting evaluation ordered in Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy divorce

Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy parted ways at the end of last year following nearly three years of marriage. While the couple reportedly signed a prenup before they wed, that hasn’t stopped things from getting ugly. After heading to court on Friday, the former couple was ordered to undergo a parenting evaluation.

“A parenting evaluation has been ordered by the court to try and settle their custody issues,”  a source close to Bethenny reveals to Radar Online. “Bethenny is furious that her parenting style and methods are going to be questioned. Bryn is her whole life, and she doesn’t want anyone to assess her mothering skills.”

From what fans have seen, both Bethenny and Jason are completely fit parents and love their daughter. They are often seen taking her on walks and to the park — the normal things parents do with their children. So, it’s understandable that they wouldn’t be thrilled with being “evaluated.”

Actually, Bethenny is a mom with means (to say the least), and that means she is often also seen doing special things with Bryn, like staying in a luxury hotel in Miami this weekend and enjoying the pool together!

Bethenny Frankel and daughter Bryn Hoppy enjoy a weekend holiday in Miami, Florida.

Remind me again why Bethenny never started a Skinny Girl line of bikinis? OK, enough with the refreshing dip in the pool — now back to the unfortunate divorce drama…

“She does not want a complete stranger to come into her home and pass judgment on the way she nurtures Bryn,” the source says. “Bethenny has trouble trusting people she doesn’t know, and this is not making her happy.”

Bethenny and Jason want the exact same thing in the divorce, which is full custody of Bryn, and that’s why things have gotten so complicated. However, the source claims that neither party is going to back down anytime soon.

“Bethenny isn’t going to give up her fight for full custody and neither is Jason,” the source explains. “They’re both very stubborn and the court is going to have to make the ruling for them.”
