As we reported an hour ago, actress Reese Witherspoon and husband Jim Toth were arrested in Atlanta on Friday. Toth was charged with DUI and Witherspoon was charged with disorderly conduct after refusing to stay in the car during Toth’s arrest. At the time of the post there were still no booking photos available, but now we have both Jim Toth’s and Reese Witherspoon’s mug shot photos!
Reese’s mug shot photo is startling because she doesn’t have her trademark blonde hair and instead is sporting brunette tresses after having them darkened for her current role in the film The Good Lie in which she plays a “straight-talking American woman” who takes in a Sudanese refugee. (It sound like the inverse straight-talking Southern lady makeover from that of Sandra Bullock, who went from brunette to blonde in a similar role.)

It’s obvious Reese plans on dealing with her first headline-grabbing run-in with the law head on! In other words, brown hurr, don’t curr!
Jim Toth’s mug shot photo looks a bit bleary eyed, but I suppose that is to be expected given the fact that he reportedly blew a .139 on a Breathalyzer test shortly before the photo was taken.
As we mentioned in the previous post, Toth was charged with DUI as well as failure to maintain a lane while driving. For her efforts, Reese Witherspoon was charged with “disorderly conduct (obstruction),” which is a local municipal ordinance according to Variety. Witherspoon and Toth were both released at approximately 3:30AM ET on Friday.
