Teen Mom 2

This week’s After Show starts with the girls reflecting on what it’s like to look back at the last year of their life. Personally, I think I’d need a bucket and a corner man if I had to watch a video recap of my life each year. That can’t be easy man! Anywho, Leah gets very real and reflective about the whirlwind that was the divorce, Kailyn looks back at her hook-up with Jo and what that meant to her and Jordan, Jenelle discusses rehab and what it was like to see her mom so openly overjoyed to see her return home and Chelsea talks Adam and lets the slightest bit of hope in that she’ll one day get past him.

Last night’s penultimate episode of Teen Mom 2 was an hour and a half roller coaster of emotions and learning the hard way via the school of hard knocks. We’ve admittedly got a soft spot for our girls and find ourselves pulling for them to break through the very real problems they face and to better themselves for the future of their children. As the curtain closed and we saw Leah overcome with the reality of her impending divorce, I was reminded of a song called “Spare Parts” and thought I’d share it. It’s a reminder that even in these moments in time where each turn seems like a bad one there’s grace, strength, conviction and love to be found.

We’re getting deep into the 2nd season of Teen Mom 2. Wednesday finds us once again breaking down the After Show and bonus footage from MTV for last night’s episode. For this Wednesday wake-up call we’ve got Jenelle and her total backstabbing court situation with Delp, Leah’s exasperation at Corey’s inability to express himself and where he’s coming from as their marriage crumbles, Chelsea not talking about Adam for the most part which is awesome, and Kailyn trying to explain why she thinks it’s okay for her to have a boyfriend but not all right for Jo to have one of his “groupies.”

It’s time once again for our weekly dose of Teen Mom 2 hangover medicine in the form of our After Show and bonus footage break down. On this week’s menu we’ve got more of Chelsea’s horrible case of Adamitis, Jenelle’s stand against alcohol and her roommate’s partying, Leah’s explanation as to why she felt her and Corey’s home wasn’t safe and Kailyn’s frustration at her single friends not understanding where she comes from. In addition the bonus footage reveals a super cute Aubree and Chelsea fessing up to her addiction other than Adam, leopard print!

It’s Wednesday, world which means starcasm is collectively recovering from another night of Teen Mom 2 tweeting. It was fun as always but now it’s time to mop the floors and toss out the margarita mixer bottles as I break down the After Show and bonus footage. This week we have Jenelle coming to grips with the fact that she might have a problem with the weed, Leah explains that Corey isn’t a good communicator and that vague geneticists are frustrating, Chelsea dives further into the depths of her Adam despair worrying that perhaps she isn’t attractive enough for him and Kailyn explains what Joe’s problem is with the child support situation.

It’s time again for our Wednesday break down of the Teen Mom 2 After Show and bonus footage. And this time we have double the baby-daddy trouble as MTV dropped a two-fer on us last night. For this go around we’ve got Leah and the wonderful news she received about little Ali, Chelsea and her inability to ever let Adam go, Kailyn and the joy she experienced during Isaac’s first birthday and Jenelle explaining the comparative temperaments of herself and Kieffer Delp and how marijuana was her security blanket.

I hope everyone survived the holidays intact as I welcome you back to our weekly Wednesday round up of the Teen Mom 2 After Show and bonus footage. On this weeks’ docket we have the holiday wrap up as Leah talks about the joy and awkwardness of her daughter’s first birthday party, Jenelle reveals her deep loneliness and why she had a change of heart about Kieffer being in jail, Chelsea explains how Christmas with Adam was like a dream and Kailyn opens up about trying to reconcile with her mother-in-law. The bonus footage may be my favorite yet as little Isaac just refuses to smile during a scheduled photo session with mommy Kail.

Last night our girls from Teen Mom 2 got things started for another season on the roller coaster ride of being a young mother. Each Wednesday following the show we like to do a quick break down of the After Show and include the bonus footage that MTV provides. Leah, Jenelle, Kailyn and Chelsea filmed the interviews after the season was over and they usually provides some interesting bonus insights on what they think of what happened during each episode. For the premiere Jenelle talks about her anger issues and Delp, Chelsea talks about her love for Adam, Kailyn drops a hint that maybe she and Joe could one day be a family again with Isaac and Leah talks about why she wanted to get out and get to work.
