Teen Mom Kailyn Irwin addresses falling out with Dustin Lee of LIG

Jenelle Evans and Kailyn Irwin with Dustin Lee of LIG

Teen Mom 2 stars Kailyn Irwin (she changed her name from Lowry to Irwin to distance herself from her biological father, whom she had no relationship with) and Jenelle Evans seemed to be having a blast in Fayetteville, North Carolina yesterday as they participated in a number of events set up by Life Is Good Agency Group, headed up by Dustin Lee (seen in the photo above with Jenelle and Kailyn).

But, something happened late last night that had Kail tweeting some very harsh words about Dustin and LIG and how she was treated. There were also a number of seemingly contradictory comments from Dustin and LIG, causing a bit of confusion as to what actually happened. Thankfully Kail has been kind enough to share her side of the story with us, but more on that in a minute. First, let’s recap what led up to the incident.

On the itinerary for Kail and Jenelle was a photo op for the Pasion clothing line, which was to help raise money for cancer awareness. After that was a meet and greet along with Rookie of the Year front man Ryan Dunson at which the three celebs signed autographs for fans at Kickback Jack’s. (Check out photos from these events HERE)

To close out the evening, LIG had arranged for Jenelle and Kail to host a Rookie of the Year CD release party at Club Hellas. (PHOTOS HERE) That’s when the fun day turned into a bit of a nightmare for Kailyn, who posted late last night on Twitter and Facebook that LIG and Dustin were not pleasant to work with and that she would not recommend them to anyone. (You can read her full comments at the link above)

We contacted Kailyn about what happened and, as I mentioned previously, she was kind enough to respond with her account of exactly what went down:

Dustin had set up the Pasion clothing line pictures for Jenelle and I to do, which I was so excited about. I’m so thankful for that. But at the same time, Jenelle and I are on Teen Mom, and Dustin should not have booked us for an album release party at a bar/club. Those places and things are not what we should be representing. Dustin also failed to fulfill his promises to reimburse me for travel and food to get to North Carolina, and make sure that my travel home was separate from any money I made doing these “events”. After all was said and done I asked him if he was going to compensate me for my way home and he told me to take it out of the $120 I made for being at the club. (Which is obviously not what was promised before I left)

Honestly, like I said I’m more than happy that I got the opportunity to work with the people from Pasion, but I would not have taken the 10+ hour trip here if I knew Dustin was going to screw me over. I lost time with my son, I took off of work and made other arrangements for school for this because Dustin made all the promises that he never fulfilled.

Lastly, he had the nerve to go all over Twitter and Facebook and say that they dropped me from the agency. That is a lie and I have not said one slanderous thing about LIG or Dustin. What I say is truth. I confronted him with my issues before anyone else.

Thanks again to Kail for clearing that up. It sounds like a pretty sucky deal all around, but at least she was able to see her good friend Jenelle and work with the good folks at Pasion apparel. Let’s hope she has a safe trip home (at her own expense).

We’re still unsure what Jenelle’s status is with LIG and whether or not she plans to move ahead with their “Road To Redemption Tour” scheduled to kick off in early 2012.
