VIDEOS Teen Mom 2 S2 E10 After Show and bonus footage break down: Kailyn isn’t okay with Jo’s ‘groupies’

We’re getting deep into the 2nd season of Teen Mom 2. Wednesday finds us once again breaking down the After Show and bonus footage from MTV for last night’s episode.

For this Wednesday wake-up call we’ve got Jenelle and her total backstabbing court situation with Delp, Leah’s exasperation at Corey’s inability to express himself and where he’s coming from as their marriage crumbles, Chelsea not talking about Adam for the most part which is awesome, and Kailyn trying to explain why she thinks it’s okay for her to have a boyfriend but not all right for Jo to have one of his “groupies.”

Jenelle:

Perhaps we see a little bit of maturation from Jenelle when she acknowledges that Barbara does always love her and that when push comes to shove she’s there for her daughter. Case in point, when Jenelle moved out after her run in with roommate Tori, her mom welcomed her back home. There’s still the fightin’ side as Jenelle adds that her mom does love her but that she doesn’t show it in the right way and that she always blames Jenelle for any of the bad situations she finds herself in.

Jenelle claims that Kieffer told her he would take the fall for the weed charge and that the bowl and the Mary Jane was his. All of this changed of course once inside the courtroom and Delp, with the assistance of his lawyer, backtracked claiming it was Jenelle’s. Kieffer’s explanation for the betrayal was that he would have got in a lot more trouble because of his criminal history.

Man, I’ve acknowledged the power of young love and how impassioned those emotions can feel but if what Jenelle claims to have happened in court is true I don’t know how she could ever have anything to do with Delp again. Kid sells you down the river then rubs it in your face afterwords and his best explanation is based on his prior lousiness… As Dr. Phil says, “That’s a deal breaker.”

Jenelle reveals that her probation officer lives three doors down from Barbara and that the probation actually results in her being locked up in her house all the time. She also lists not being able to see Kieffer as part of why the probation verdict hurt. Really!?! Come on Jenelle.

Leah:

Leah writes off Corey’s inability to express his feelings as him just being “a guy.” Leah explains why she got so upset when Corey mumbled the idea that their marriage was falling apart. At the time Leah is hurt by the idea and she wanted strongly to keep her family together. She explains that it’s Corey’s nature to be wishy-washy.

Leah is at a lost as to why Corey couldn’t answer the fundamental question in regards to wanting to remain with her. Furthermore, Corey had put out the ultimatum that they had to get married or he would leave her and at the time Leah wasn’t sure if rushing into it was right but she didn’t want to lose her family. She guesses that maybe Corey realizes that it was rushed and perhaps he wanted to experience other things and other women. I commend Leah for being aware of Corey’s role as the father of her children and doing her best not to disparage him unnecessarily.

She then shines the light on herself in a very personal way by revealing that she didn’t have any kind of father figure growing up and that she wanted for Corey to be that person she could confide in and be the upstanding male role model in her life. Expectations can be a difficult thing, not only for those who have them but for those burdened by the weight of expectation.

Chelsea:

Wait a minute!?! Chelsea starts off not really talking about Adam! Break through peeps!!!! She explains that her friends encouraged her to move on and get her GED and that her participation with the March of Dimes helped her get through the days.

When we’re shown Chelsea making the t-shirts for the walk with her friends it becomes apparent that many of them have babies too. Pak asks Chelsea why she thinks that is and it’s really a mystery to her. Chelsea says that if she would have had a teen mother as a friend before she got pregnant that she would have been way more careful.

Virtual hug out to Houska as we have an After Show chat that isn’t all about Lind.

Kailyn:

Jo’s maturity shown when he meets Jordan surprises Kailyn. Then she tries to explain why she hates the fact that Jo is seeing someone else and how it’s different than her seeing Jordan. Her reasoning is that for her, she was pretty much alone with Isaac and was in real need of the support while Jo had his family and a large support group.

Kailyn digs deeper and admits that it scares her that Isaac will be over at the Riveras with Jo, his girl and his family and it will be, in her words, “this picture perfect thing.” Kailyn was also embarrassed and surprised by how obvious it was that she flirted with Jo right in front of Jordan. She also thinks that Jo’s lady friends, who she calls groupies because of his rap career, don’t love Jo for Jo like she does. She wonders why he would even want to be around girls like that.

This weeks’ bonus footage features another discussion between Jenelle and Barbara about the entity that is Kieffer Delp. Jenelle’s ticked off about being hung out to dry at the courthouse and Barbara is pretty much, “I told you so.”

See ya next week…
