Dave Hester filed a multi-million dollar lawsuit against A&E Television Networks and Original Producers, the producers of Storage Wars, today after months of turmoil over his contract and the alleged “salting” of storage units won my cast members. The suit alleges that after Hester asked for indemnity from the alleged fraudulent manipulation of the storage units to producers, they fired him — which he claims is a breach of contract. In addition to the “salting” of lockers with unique and interesting items, Hester claims producers rig the bidding for dramatic effect, repay an antiques business for items used to salt lockers by featuring them on the show for appraisals, and even paid for a female cast member’s plastic surgery to add sex appeal! Mob Wives Chicago sleeps with the fishes. The Chicago Sun-Times spoke with a few of the cast members and got their disappointed reactions as well as a litany of reasons for the cancelation that included the Olympics, lack of advertising, and something called an “accent barrier.”

Jenelle Evans’ recent mysterious week-long hospital stay inspired a lot of online sleuthing over the past seven days, and one of the fruits of that labor is this mug shot of Jenelle’s fiance Courtland Rogers from his arrest as part of an Oak Island, North Carolina drug raid in 2010. Dubbed “Operation Ocean Storm,” the raid was a 21-month operation that resulted in 36 indictments in addition to the confiscation of numerous firearms, ten vehicles, and an estimated $65,000 worth of drugs. A while back word came down the line that MTV had green-lighted a show that would feature a group out of high school doing their own thing in the state of West Virginia. At the time I thought it could have a great possibility of being a mix between Jersey Shore and The Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia. It looks like MTV had the same idea as the coveted Thursday time slot once occupied by the guidos and guidettes from Seaside Heights will now be the home of Buckwild.
