Robertson family business Duck Commander has teamed up with Connecticut-based gun manufacturer Mossberg for a line of camouflaged weaponry that includes nine different types of shotguns, two rifles (one semiautomatic) and a semiautomatic pistol.

Cracker Barrel waffles on Duck Dynasty merchandise, networks offer to take Duck Dynasty from A&E

Caught in the middle of the fallout from Duck Dynasty star Phil Robertson’s controversial comments about race and homosexuality are the businesses selling Duck Dynasty merchandise. Tennessee-based restaurant chain and retailer Cracker Barrel, who are still trying to rebuild their image after the U.S. Department of Justice found them guilty of numerous racist practices in 2004, announced last week that they would be removing “selected products which we were concerned might offend some of our guests.” As you might imagine, the decision drew quite the backlash from a large number of Cracker Barrel customers, and this weekend the company did a complete turnaround and even offered an apology. Robertson family issues statement on Phil’s suspension: “We cannot imagine the show going forward without our patriarch at the helm”

The Robertson family from Duck Dynasty issues an official statement addressing the suspension of patriarch Phil Robertson after his controversial comments about homosexuality and race in a new GQ interview. In the statement the family acknowledges Phil’s comments were “coarse” but adds that they were “grounded in the teachings of the Bible.” The statement then casts a shadow on the future of the series when it reveals the family is “in discussions with A&E to see what that means for the future of Duck Dynasty,” but that they “cannot imagine the show going forward without our patriarch at the helm.”

#IStandWithPhil petition demands Phil Robertson return to Duck Dynasty, calls A&E “discriminatory” and intolerant

Phil Robertson’s suspension from Duck Dynasty in the wake of a new GQ interview in which Phil makes numerous negative comments about homosexuality and says black people in the South never complained “pre-entitlement” has angered some of the show’s conservative Christian fan base, and now there is an online petition that is being marketed with the hash tag #IStandWithPhil calling for his reinstatement. The bearded Robertson boys of Duck Dynasty cover the new issue of Parade Magazine as the headline proclaims “THE MIGHTY DUCKS: How the Robertson of Duck Dynasty Became Reality TV’s Biggest Stars.” In the article writer Shawna Malcom talks with the Robertsons about how the show came about as well as the nuts and bolts of how the show is made and what the impact of so much fame and exposure has had on their family. It is revealed that family patriarch (and the creator of the duck calls at the heart of the Robertson family business) Phil Robertson had to be talked into participating initially, and apparently the success of the show hasn’t gone to his head because he suggests he will be leaving soon!

The number one reality show on cable (that doesn’t involve the buying and reselling of used merchandise) comes back tonight as the bearded bravados of the Robertson family return for season 3 of Duck Dynasty with back-to-back premiere episodes beginning at 10/9c on A&E. To promote the new season, the Robertsons posed for photos sporting stylish camouflage outfits in a room (and on a Chaise lounge — er, Jase lounge?) decorated with the same camo pattern.
