Emily Maynard and Jef Holm announced that they would be going their separate ways back in October after falling in love and getting engaged on The Bachelorette. Since then, they seemed to have moved on, Emily with NASCAR driver Jason White and Jef with New Orleans native Katiana Bear. But now, it’s looking like they are having second thoughts about their split.
Last week, Jef flew out to Emily’s hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina, where the two were spotted getting cozy at Connolly’s Irish Pub. “Emily sat on a stool at the bar while Jef stood facing her between her legs. It was obvious they were having some sort of deep conversation, but Emily also had her arms hanging around his neck affectionately at one point,” the eyewitness told Radar Online.
“I was surprised at how into each other they were acting because it was clear that they were trying to go unnoticed and didn’t want attention from anyone. From what I could overhear, they were having a discussion about their relationship status.”
Although they may have been open about their affections, things got heated when a fellow bargoer tried to take their photo. According to the source, Jef even got physical with the guy.
“Jef got physical with some guy over taking a photo so Emily grabbed his cheeks with both hands and was like, ‘Stop, calm down,'” the source explained. “The guy who tried to take the photo was told to leave the bar by management. Jef was either being protective of Emily or he just didn’t want them photographed at all.”
If these two do get back together, Jef better watch out for Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Word on the street is that he’s dying to dance with Emily when (or should we say “if”?) she appears on next season’s Dancing With The Stars.
