Way back in January of 2011 we reported on Teen Mom vet Amber Portwood having allegedly been offered $500,000 by Vivid CEO Steve Hirsch to film a p0rn. At the the time, even while Amber was down spiraling towards her decision to opt for jail, the idea seemed pretty far-fetched. Now, in light of the Farrah Superstar: Backdoor Teen Mom insanity that has resulted from Amber’s alum, Farrah Abraham, doing just that with the same company it doesn’t seem so off the charts that Portwood very well may have received an offer. Amber’s greatest defender, her brother Shawn, pointed out the fact that even while at the lowest point of her life, Amber had the fortitude to refuse the easy money from Vivid. All of this had us thinking… Perhaps Amber’s choice to elect for prison will eventually turn out to be a wiser one than Farrah’s decision to film and release a p0rn.

Retailer H&M is making a bold statement by not making a statement at all. The clothing chain’s women’s wear home page has just been updated to include their latest “Beachwear” line, which if you click on it, includes a variety of beach clothing ranging from swimsuits to sheer knits to denim — all featuring plus-size model Jennie Runk. The remarkable thing about the line is that there is zero fanfare made about the line being “plus-size” or whatever — it’s simply “Beachwear.” How refreshing is that?!?

Studies are now showing that some people who get Botox injections for a long time, over 10 years, may see a decrease in the drug’s effectiveness to freeze the face. The drug is essentially a neurotoxin that “freezes” the muscles of the face reducing the appearance of wrinkles, and preventing new ones from forming. It usually lasts a few months, but over time the effects may be lessened and not last as long.

On Monday Marlina Martinez, a 15-year-old high school freshman at Stockton, California’s Cesar Chavez High School, began applying makeup towards the end of her math class. The teacher confiscated the makeup and when Martinez demanded that it be returned things broke bad as the two engaged in a violent brawl that was caught on video via a fellow classmate’s cellphone. MTV announces Snooki & JWoww Season 3, new series based on Scream movies, 15 returning shows
