Paris Jackson reunited with her mom Debbie Rowe on her 15th birthday after living estranged from her for most of her life.
Even though Debbie and Paris’ dad Michael Jackson were briefly married, it was more of a surrogate situation. They married in November 1996, and divorced three years later in 1999 after Debbie had given birth to Prince and then Paris. The mother of Michael Jackson’s youngest son Blanket has never been revealed. Click here to read more about that situation.
In 2003 Debbie (54,) who was reportedly paid $8 million in a settlement, explained the situation: “My kids don’t call me mom because I don’t want them to. It’s not that they’re not my children, but I had them because I want him to be a father.”
Rowe told ET about her special day with Paris, saying they had quality time together eating sushi and going shopping.
