It shouldn’t shock anyone to hear that Amanda Bynes made yet another interesting, drastic change to her appearance. The good news is that this was arguably the best fashion call she’s made in months.
“I buzzed half my head like @cassie! No more old photos! This is the new me! I love it,” she tweeted on Thursday, adding the picture at the top.
Not to jinx it all, but let’s hope this means Amanda has hit the fashion bottom and is now working her way back up.
The style is still considered gutsy, but Amanda certainly isn’t the only buzzed celebrity on the block. Miley Cyrus, Jessie J and Anne Hathaway have all shown that ultra-short can be ultra-sexy — and those are definite improvements over the comparison people have made between Amanda and circa-2007 Britney Spears.
Although I don’t want to make a fuss about a good thing, I am confused about why Amanda “buzzed” off any hair… Earlier this month, she claimed she had to wear wigs because she shaved her head after a botched job by a stylist.
In other Bynes-related news, she recently told In Touch she’s in the same wealth ballpark as Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. She was quickly called out for the exaggeration, as the Olsen are worth an estimated $295 million more than Bynes.
