Clint Eastwood and wife Dina Ruiz have been together since first meeting in 1993 when Dina, a TV anchor at that time, interviewed Clint for a movie he was in. Three years later, they wed. The two seemed to have beat the odds until early last week when news that Dina checked into rehab hit the web. According to reports, Dina was depressed and having anxiety issues and it was all because of troubles she and Clint are said to be having in their marriage.
TMZ claims Dina was highly depressed over the issues lingering in her marriage and the thought that they could be heading for divorce pushed her over the edge. While Clint was said to believe that their marriage was still salvageable, Dina chose to go to the exclusive Arizona rehab and will remain there for the next few months.
Yesterday, amid rumors of an impending split, Clint surfaced in New York City — with no wedding ring. That doesn’t exactly say “My marriage is salvageable,” but maybe he just left the ring back home.
In the last couple of months, Clint has made it a point to keep his left hand in his pocket during photos as if he was trying to hide something. In fact, he hasn’t really shown off his ring since early last year as he and Dina haven’t been on the red carpet together since around that same time.
