The CDC has recently released a report based on a survey of thousands of young teenage mothers who had unplanned pregnancies in the U.S. While the pregnancy rate among teenagers is falling we still have the highest rate among all developed countries. Some of the findings in this report highlight probable reasons why.
One of the things we don’t get to talk enough about in regards to Teen Mom and Teen Mom 2 are the songs used on the program and how they often play a pivotal role in driving the mama-drama. All that’s changing now as MTV has announced the release of the official Teen Mom Soundtrack featuring songs used during the highly successful cable show. Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans is behind bars again, this time for violating a domestic violence protective order according to a news release from the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Department. The arrest occurred Monday night at around 7:15 and as far as we can tell she is still in jail at the time of this post.
UPDATE – We spoke with Jenelle’s attorney who tells us she is out on $1,000 bond and faces 75 days of active jail time.

Jenelle was booked today, January 10, 2012 at around 10:15 a.m. in Brunswick County for “harassing phone calls” and “communicating threats,” according to Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office. She posted a $1,000 bond, and was out of jail before noon today.

I was lmfao from the first likenesses of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart as Beavis and Butt-Head watched in whispering disbelief. “How come chicks like that crap?” It inspires the dubious pair to become undead because this would make them irresistible to women. The legal issues continue for veterans of MTV’s 16 and Pregnant as Season 3 baby daddy Jamie Alderman has been arrested in Licking County, Ohio after violating his probation stemming from a 2010 assault charge. Jamie is the former fiance of Danielle Cunningham and the father of one-year-old Jamie Paul Alderman, Jr.
Last month Ebony Jackson-Rendon and husband Josh, original cast members of 16 & Pregnant, were arrested by authorities mainly due to the untenable living conditions of their home in Jacksonville, Arkansas. Their daughter Jocelyn was taken into custody and since then they’ve worked hard at cleaning their house and their lives up. Their dedication has paid off as they’ve now been granted visitation rights. There are rumors of a drug overdose, but a source tells the Daily Mail that it’s more likely Amber just forgot to take her prescription anxiety medication Klonopin. The attack comes one day after the new issue of Life and Style magazine hit newsstands with a cover story about Amber being seen out clubbing and drinking a lot lately.

Tonight is the season finale of the third season of everyone’s favorite young momma drama series Teen Mom, and in honor of the show’s success (as well as it’s sister show Teen Mom 2) I thought I would sift through some of the virtual filing cabinets here on my computer and gather together some of my favorite altered images from our rather extensive coverage of the show over the years.
At the end of August Teen Mom Amber Portwood returned to her home in Anderson, Indiana after a two-month stint in a California rehab facility getting treatment for depression and anger management issues.
