Just as TLC announced that Season 4 of their teen pregnancy reality series Unexpected will be taking a one-month break, online sources are reporting that new couple Reanna Cline and Taron Ward have been cut from the show. Season 4 mom Tyra Boisseau has indicated that she’s done with the show as well, but it appears that she and Alex Wilson will finish the season.
Congratulations are in order for returning Unexpected mom Lilly Bennett! The 20-year-old just gave birth to her second child, a rather big bundle of joy named Lawrence!
Unexpected Season 2 couple Laura Barron and Tylor Strawmyer had a seemingly acrimonious break up back in June, but Laura shocked her Instagram followers on Thursday when she posted a rather joyful Instagram video with Tylor and their two kids. Of course, any potential reconciliation might be hindered by a surprising monkey wrench: Tylor’s new ex-girlfriend says she’s pregnant and due in June!

McKayla Adkins’ bad luck with professional hairdressers continues. The 20-year-old former Unexpected star recently shaved her head after getting blonde highlights that resulted in her hair becoming rubbery and falling out.
Former Unexpected mom McKayla Adkins has been very open in the past about her desire to have plastic surgery, and this week she revealed to her fans that she had her first major procedure in the form of a nose job.
It appears that the numerous illegal antics of former Unexpected dad Max Schenzel have finally resulted in an extended stay behind bars. Just a few days after gloating and taunting his ex Chloe Mendoza online about how well he has been doing, Max was sentenced to six months in jail after pleading guilty to a felony charge of unlawful use of means of transportation. The sentencing was unrelated to his two pending charges of domestic battery.
Fans of TLC’s teen parent reality series Unexpected have long suspected that the relationship between former couple Chloe Mendoza and Max Schenzel was a lot less pleasant than what viewers saw on screen and what their followers saw on social media. After the two got into an acrimonious back and forth on social media this week, Chloe decided to finally spill all the beans on just how unpleasant the relationship was (including allegations of constant abuse) with a tell all video posted to YouTube earlier today.
Former Unexpected couple Chloe Mendoza and Max Schenzel had a major falling out roughly six months ago, soon after Max’s second arrest for domestic assault in less than two months. Since that time, Chloe has taken out an order of protection against Max, but that hasn’t stopped them from going at each other on social media. In their most recent online back and forth, Chloe says that Max kicked their daughter Ava in the back and also broke her crib and smashed a television. Max responds by claiming Chloe drinks and smokes week and shattered a sliding glass door by throwing one of Ava’s toys through it while in a drunken rage.
Unexpected dad Max Schenzel has managed to avoid getting into any more legal trouble over the past few months, but the 21-year-old looks to have another warrant out on him after he skipped a scheduled court date earlier this week.
Unexpected parents Laura Barron and Tylor Strawmyer seemed to be defying the odds as the only mom and dad from all three seasons of TLC’s popular teen pregnancy reality series to remain together. Unfortunately, it appears that the couple’s unlikely happily ever after has ended.
After months and months of denying that she would ever film with TLC again, Unexpected mom “Hailey 2” Tilford apparently had a change of heart. However, she says that she just spoke with a show producer and was told that because of racially insensitive comments made by her Instagram account when it was allegedly hacked last year, she is “not allowed to film or appear on the show.” Meanwhile, she says that her ex Matthew continues to film despite numerous offensive social media posts, including his repeated use of the n word.
