Congratulations to TLC Unexpected star Lexus Scheller, as the reality mom officially graduated from high school on Saturday!
Lexus posted a photo (above) wearing her red cap and gown while holding her Twin Lakes High School diploma on Instagram Sunday. “I did it ❤️” she wrote.
Lexus’ mom Kelsey Scheller, who is in the graduation photo with her, shared a photo collage of Lexus on Instagram and wrote this touching message expressing her pride in her daughter’s accomplishment:
Well the day has come that I get to watch you walk across that stage ???I am so beyond proud of you and proving they people wrong that didn’t believe you could make it! Your on to a new chapter of life welcome to the adult world! I love you so much always keep that determination you have as you’ll accomplish anything you set your mind to do! #classof2019 #imanemptynesternow
“I love you so much,” an appreciative Lexus responded. “I couldn’t have done it without all your motivation & support. ?”
And don’t think that just because Lexus is a parent heading into her third season on a reality show that she graduated late! You must remember that she was only fifteen when she got pregnant, and she is currently just seventeen years old. (She will turn eighteen next month.)
Lexus’ boyfriend (and two-year-old daughter Scarlett’s dad) Shayden Massey shared his congratulations a little early. “You are so gorgeous??,” he accurately captioned an Instagram photo of Lexus on May 22. “I am so so proud of you for graduating baby. You did something I’ll never get the chance to do. You are so strong and such an amazing mom. I don’t know how you do it all. I love you so much baby.”
In case you were unaware, Shayden dropped out of high school to begin working full time in nearby Lafayette when Lexus became pregnant with Scarlett.
“Aww thank you so much baby!!” Lexus replied. “I am so lucky to have had you by my side to motivate me & help me through all my many obstacles. I love you with all my heart, you’re amazing. ?”
Congratulations again to Lexus on her graduation! I can’t wait to see footage when Unexpected returns to TLC for a third season — hopefully soon!
