UNEXPECTED Did Emiley and Diego break up?

TLC Unexpected Emiley Noack Diego Reyes and their daughter Aria

On the second season of TLC’s hit series Unexpected, the relationship between teen mom Emiley Noack and her mother Britney appears to be disintegrating as Emiley gets closer and closer with the family of her baby’s father, Diego Reyes. But, it may be that Diego’s irreverent attitude finally turned on Emiley as well because evidence on social media suggests the two are no longer together.

Neither Emiley nor Diego have confirmed a split online, but their social media accounts certainly seem to indicate that they have broken up. Diego has been COMPLETELY scrubbed from Emiley’s Instagram account, except for a single photo from early August when the two made an appearance on a local news station to promote the show.

On Diego’s Instagram, you have to go all the way back to February to find Emily, and that is only a glimpse of her leg while in the delivery room giving birth to Aria.

Perhaps even more telling than Emiley and Diego’s lack of photos of each other is Diego’s drama-neutral dad Fabian, who hasn’t posted a photo of Diego and Emily together since their August television appearance either. There are still lots of photos of Aria, but not Emiley. Fabian hasn’t scrubbed his older photos, however, and the last one was posted in July. You have to go back to mid-June before that to find more.

If you are curious about the timeline, it appears as though Diego and Emiley’s prom was in April, and they were definitely still together (and posing for photos together) at that time.

Both couples seem to be dodging the relationship status issue completely, although Diego did respond to one Instagram commenter asking if they were still together by writing: “watch the show is what I can say dude ?.”

Unfortunately, that’s what we have to say as well. Even though it appears as though Emiley and Diego have broken up, we will all just have to tune in to new episodes of Unexpected airing Sunday nights at 10/9c on TLC to find out for sure!
