It appears that the headline-grabbing barbeque-themed backdoor pilot episode of Best Funeral Ever was successful enough to merit the return of TLC cameras to the Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas to bring viewers more over-the-top themed funeral services as part of a seven-episode run of Best Funeral Ever. The series premieres tonight at 10/9c with two back-to-back half-hour episodes with four total funerals, including services with bowling, wedding, Olympics and breakfast themes. TLC drew a lot of criticism for its Breaking Amish reality series after it was later revealed that all of the cat member had left their respective Amish and Mennonite communities long before taping began. As you might expect, when TLC announced they would be airing a similar series based on former members of the controversial Warren Jeffs led FLDS (Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints) titled Breaking the Faith (premiering tonight at 10/9c), many were skeptical just how truthful the series would be. Judging from evidence gathered so far, it appears TLC is sticking to their tried and relatively untrue formula by casting actual former FLDS members, but then having them act out a scripted narrative.

Monday night was the two-hour “Teen Mom 3 Finale Special: Check Up With Dr. Drew” and as you would expect, it was jam-packed with daddy and mama drama. Even taking into consideration the dramatic highlight reels from the first season, nothing could compare to the Jerry Springer-esque fireworks between Briana DeJesus and her daughter Nova’s father, Devoin Austin! Former Buckwild star Salwa Amin pleaded guilty Monday to one count of conspiracy to possess with intent to deliver a controlled substance stemming from her February drug arrest. The 25-year-old originally faced an additional charge of possession with intent to distribute heroin and oxycodone, but that charge was dropped as part of a plea deal that included Salwa attending inpatient rehab for her addiction — which she has since successfully completed prior to moving into a sober living house.
