Fans have watched Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra for years now. They made their 16 & Pregnant debut over 3 years ago — can you believe it?! Since then, they have been starring in Teen Mom which is coming to an end in just a few weeks. Now that they are done filming their reality show, they are on to bigger and better things including their upcoming wedding.
In case you missed it, In Touch announced last week that Teen Mom star Catelynn Lowell was pregnant, quoting Catelynn’s “close friend” Jamie Pyrzewski. Catelynn debunked the story pretty quickly, claiming she didn’t even know who Jamie Pyrzewski was. She followed that with an Us Weekly cover story this week declaring she isn’t pregnant and never was. But In Touch used a play from the Kardashian playbook and realized they don’t just have to write the news, they can be the news, and published another cover story this week declaring they were duped by Catelynn’s mom April Baltierra.

A few weeks ago, Teen Mom star Catelynn Lowell made headlines for being pregnant — even though she wasn’t. On June 13, the cover of In Touch Weekly read, “I’m Pregnant!” Inside was an interview with family friend, Jamie Pyrzewski, who spoke of Catelynn and Tyler’s excitement and claimed Catelynn had broke the news to her a few weeks prior. Catelynn quickly shot down the rumors and is now opening up about who is behind the whole mess.
After spending all of Episode 4 playing mom to Tyler’s dad Butch Baltierra, Catelynn Lowell returns to helping other birth moms deal in a group counseling session in this sneak peek clip from Episode 5. Tonight is the beginning of the end of MTV’s “ground-breaking docu-series” Teen Mom as the fourth and final season of the show premieres with back-to-back episodes featuring Maci Bookout, Catelynn Lowell, Amber Portwood, and Farrah Abraham, who invited the world into their lives when they first appeared on 16 and Pregnant in 2009. Join me as I take a look back on almost three years of writing about these young women and see if you don’t agree with me that Teen Mom will go down in history as one of the most important shows in television history.
Teen Mom‘s Catelynn Lowell is pretty close to her biological father David Lowell, but last season we saw her see him for the first time in four years. It was a breath of fresh air for Catelynn and Tyler, but why don’t they see each other very often?
MTV has released the first official promotional images for the upcoming final season of Teen Mom. The photos are still images from the first two episodes of Season 4 and feature Maci Bookout, Bentley, Kyle King, Farrah Abraham, Sophia, Debra Danielsen, Amber Portwood, Gary Shirley, Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra. There are still no professional studio shots yet, but the girls (minus Amber) have been in New York City this week, and I’m sure getting official studio shots is on the agenda!

Farrah talks about Florida, Catelynn discusses her self-esteem issues and how she’s not Tyler’s “type” and Maci chimes in about going back to school and having to towel bathe Kyle.

It really is one of those special heart-felt moments that only Teen Mom can deliver as we see a young woman who is hurting, alone and doing her best to try and relocate her happiness in the face of loss all the while having to keep up a front and try to push through for her daughter.

It looks like they started shooting Teen Mom Season 3 pretty soon after after Season 2 ended, which is good because the drama in these girls’ lives doesn’t stop for anyone, or anything. We started this site a little over three years ago and have been covering the 16 and Pregnant and Teen Mom shows from their inception. Since that time we have built up quite a large following of fans of the show, and also since that time we ourselves have become big fans! So, I thought I might take a break from arrests, rumored break-ups, spring break partying, Facebook feuds and shark fishing to spread a little love and a lot of admiration for Maci Bookout, Catelynn Lowell, Farrah Abraham and Amber Portwood.
