Erin Brockovich, Dr. Drew think teen girl Tourrette’s symptom epidemic may be caused by toxins, not mass hysteria

Last October (2011) a group of 13 teenage girls in upstate New York town LeRoy suddenly developed unexplained Tourrette’s Syndrome like tic symptoms. Many of the girls experienced the symptoms simultaneously, but weren’t aware that the other girls were experiencing the same thing.

A neurologist has diagnosed the girls with “mass hysteria,” and school officials release reports that there are no toxic chemicals at the school, but famous environmental activist Erin Brockovich is investigating these claims.

Mob Wives’ Renee Graziano hospitalized after her father Anthony “TG” Graziano was arrested yet again

Mob Wives star Renee Graziano was rushed to a New York City hospital Friday soon after hearing that her father, Anthony “TG” Graziano, had been arrested yet again along with four other alleged members of the Bonanno crime family in an early morning raid. She reportedly suffered a panic attack and collapsed hours after hearing about her father’s arrest, which came less than two weeks after he had been indicted for a separate charge of extortion. Adding insult to injury, it appears that both arrests were made stemming from information received from recordings made by Renee’s ex-husband Hector “Junior” Pagan after he flipped to avoid armed robbery charges last year.

Is the Mad Men Season 5 Poster in bad taste?

On March 25th Mad Men comes back to AMC with their 5th season, so naturally the network is getting its promotional engines warmed up. As part of their marketing material, they have released a minimalist promotional poster for the new season that features a silhouetted man in a suit falling on a white-to-light-gray gradient background with just the words “March 25” along the bottom. The image is graphically striking in its simplicity, but according to sites like Salon and Wet Paint, the poster is causing a bit of controversy from folks who think it is an obvious reference to 9/11.

E Online obtained the court documents filed in the Manhattan Supreme Court claiming the three sites made “brazen attempts to sexualize” the young girl.

Teen Mom Amber Portwood strikes a plea deal, gets five year sentence

Troubled Teen Mom star Amber Portwood was in court today stemming from her drug arrest last month after police found numerous prescription pills in her possession that she could not prove were hers. Amber pled guilty to one count of possession of a controlled substance and one count of probation violation and was sentenced to five years in prison. But, as part of the plea deal, Amber can avoid serving any time behind bars if she completes a court-mandated drug rehabilitation program, which means graduating from the Madison County Drug Court program.

For a celeb caught up in a scandal they can be amazingly rough times because just about anything ever caught on video will more than likely end up on YouTube. Entertainment Tonight was doing a feature on actress Demi Moore, who (according to her reps) is currently seeking treatment for exhaustion and stress, and they released a mega cringe-worthy vintage clip from 1982. In the video, a visibly inebriated 19-year-old Moore repeatedly kisses her 15-year-old General Hospital co-star Philip Tanzini at his birthday celebration party. He was on the show to defend his innocence but got attacked by an angry mom instead.

Up until the latest piece of news I’ve been like, “whatever,” because she was doing her thing and not really seeming to hurt anyone. According to sources her recent emergency call to paramedics was because the 49-year-old went semi-conscious from doing whip-its.

Confirmed: Demi Moore IS in treatment facility

Yesterday we reported on a rumor that Demi Lovato was back in rehab. However, several sources have refuted that claim (originally made by blindgossip.com.)

What we can confirm, though, is that another famous woman named Demi, Demi Moore has checked into a treatment center facility center to “treat exhaustion and improve her overall health,” after being rushed to the hospital in an ambulance Tuesday for what TMZ is calling “substance abuse problems.”

An “insider close to the reality star” reveals to the tabloid, “She was having bad cramps for the past two weeks, and then she miscarried.” Leah Messer’s fiance (and father-to-be) Jeremy Calvert reportedly spoke with OK!, saying, “It’s a devastating experience, but all I can do is support Leah and take things day by day.” He then adds, “It’s hard, but we will get through it.”

PHOTO Why Kim Kardashian remains relevant

Just when I find myself chanting along with a number of our commenters, demanding to know the answer to the puzzling questions, “Why do people care about Kim Kardashian?!?” that’s when I usually run across a photo like this one. Suddenly I’m curious to know more about this woman – her family, the rather low quality products she endorses, everything!

But, it seems my own personal weakness may not be shared by everyone, as the Kardashian brand is beginning to be viewed as “toxic” by business insiders. What do you think? Was Kim’s farcical marriage to Kris Humphries the beginning of the end of Kardashian relevance? Or will we all be lulled back into believing that we care by more AMAZING photos of Kim? (I confess I’m feeling really, really lulled right now.)

Sometimes roles just stick with an actor and for those of us that go back far enough it’s hard to imagine Matthew McConaughey as anyone other than the never quite got out of high school facial-haired David Wooderson from 1993’s Dazed and Confused. Lucky for us the hunkified actor reprised his role for a music video and man it looks like Wooderson has been L-I-V-I-N while not aging one bit.
