Earlier today we posted up photos of 20 of the 37 pups that will be competing in Animal Planet’s Puppy Bowl VIII airing on Super Bowl Sunday, and now we have the remaining 17! This second part of the litter by the letter features Montana, a nine-week-old Collie/Rottweiler Mix, through York, an eleven-week-old Bassett Hound Mix with the only pair of over-sized floppy ears in the entire field.
Puppy Bowl 8 will kick off at 3pm on Sunday, February 5, 2012 and run for 12 hours. (That’s like three and a half days in dog years!) Last season’s Puppy Bowl VII brought in 9.2 million viewers during the course of the broadcast, and every indication is that the audience will be even bigger this season.
So will you be tuned in for the Puppy Bowl? And now that you’ve seen all the competitors, do you have a favorite? I’m a sucker for a Bassett Hound, so York is up there for me. But I’m also partial to the charismatic mugs of Hunter the Boxer and Pepper the Pit Bull/Collie Mix. But in the end, it all comes down to how they perform on Gameday!
