MTV announced earlier today that it will air a third installment of its popular Teen Mom franchise titled Teen Mom 3. At this point it is assumed they will be choosing the cast member from the upcoming fourth season of 16 and Pregnant set to premiere with back-to-back episodes on March 27.
A month after AMC released a somewhat controversial teaser poster announcing Mad Men would be returning for its fifth season on March 25, the network has now unveiled the official Mad Men Season 5 poster, which is just as slick, complex, and perfectly composed as you would expect from the creators of greatest show about advertising ever! (Well, except for maybe Melrose Place – but that’s completely different!)
Teen Mom Maci Bookout made a recent speaking appearance at Slippery Rock University and a few videos from that night have surfaced. The big news that initially came out from the lecture was that Maci verified she was no longer romantically linked to Kyle King but that the two remained friends. She is being monitored with an ankle bracelet (a la Lindsay Lohan) and is not permitted to leave her grandparents’ house at all except for pre-approved meetings like AA and attorney appointments. She’s also prohibited illegal drugs (isn’t everybody?) and alcohol of ANY KIND.

ABC has managed to unite two of my biggest and oldest guilty TV pleasures for the upcoming 14th season of their reality competition series Dancing With The Stars. MTV’s Jersey Shore spin off reality series The Pauly D Project is set to premiere on March 29. Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans has had a bad month. In addition to all the legal drama surrounding her falling out with former roommate Hannah Inman, she has had a terrible time of it health-wise. After being diagnosed with strep throat and mono, she had to go in last week for a tonsillectomy. Last night she was back in the hospital after she began coughing up blood, and returned home late last night only to begin coughing up blood again a few hours later. Jenelle expressed her frustration on Facebook and even posted a rather gruesome photo of what her latest coughing fits had produced.

Discovery Channel’s hit new reality series Bering Sea Gold follows several dredge crews just off the coast of Nome, Alaska. After only a couple episodes it seems pretty clear that some of these folks don’t really have much experience (to put it nicely). Actually, most of the stars of the show admit to being newbies, and most of the dredges seem like crazy, thrown-together mousetraps of old car parts bolted to floats. In this week’s 90-minute episode of Teen Mom 2 an emotional Leah Messer revealed to her husband Corey Simms that she slept with her ex Robbie Kidd a week before their wedding. As you might imagine, fans responded with an outpouring of tweets and Facebook comments, most of which were condemning Leah for her actions (although there were a large number of fans showing their support as well).
