For Pawn Stars’ Rick Harrison his recent engagement wasn’t so much a proposal as it was a straight forward declaration.
The star of History Channel’s smash hit Pawn Stars got engaged over Valentine’s to his girlfriend Deanna Burditt. Rick told People:
“I didn’t really ask her, I told her ‘Girl, I’m marrying you,’ and then I gave her the ring.”
Not too romantic sounding but I think if you’re Rick’s gal you know what to expect from the man. In a strange bit of numerical symmetry the number 3 plays heavy in this connection. For both Harrison, 46, and Burditt, 36, it will be their third marriage. They also each have three children, with Harrison the father of three boys and Burditt the mother of three daughters. Harrison was aware of the obvious pop culture reference here:
“It’s perfect symmetry. I’ve got three boys. She’s got three girls. We’re basically the Brady Bunch.”
The photo above was taken Saturday at the grand opening of photographer Peter Lik’s Las Vegas gallery in Mandalay Bay. The couple were in great spirits and Deanna was beaming as she showed off her new girl’s best friend.
Good luck to “The Spotter” and Deanna and, hey, I don’t think hunting down a chapel in Las Vegas will be a problem! As for the reception, well he can just send Chumlee out to take care of that.
