Generation after generation of young pop female stars find themselves lingering in the huge shadow of Marilyn Monroe. You’d be hard pressed to find a frequent headliner that hasn’t taken their turn at doing a Marilyn inspired shoot.
Heck, even attention seeking teen bride Courtney Stodden recently jumped on the train but I have to admit that I did not see this one coming… Mob Wives newest superstar Angela “Big Ang” Raiola has rocked out her own Marilyn Monroe 7 Year Itch shoot for Next Magazine. In addition there’s a great write-up on the star with a shady past and a potentially bright future.
She’s labeled “The Godmother” in the article and they point out that it seemed like destiny for the larger than life Staten Island gal to become a local legend. Angela said:
“I’ve been in the bar business for like 35 years and it was always like that with all the customers. They always came and told me their problems and were asking me my advice. Like, what do I know? All the kids, since they were babies, always loved me. I must have that thing.”
