Cee Lo Green is gettin’ everybody’s attention on The Voice with his fluffy white Persian kitty Purrfect. He calls the fierce feline his “secret weapon,” but she’s turning out to be a secret weapon for the show.
What’s up with this fierce feline? Does Cee Lo own this cat? She’s taking over Twitter and Facebook, will she take over the world?
First of all, Cee Lo doesn’t own Purrfect, he rents her from Benay’s Bird & Animal Rentals because he told producers he wanted to create a Dr. Evil-type persona on the competition talent show.
I know, kind of a bummer that he doesn’t own her, right? But that doesn’t make Purrfect any less perfect.
She calls Cee Lo “Papa” (doesn’t everybody?) is able to tweet because she uses iPawd, and is okay with Cee Lo seeing other cats as long as they pet her. (She is a rental, after all)
Here’s what she told Access Hollywood about Cee Lo being a kitty’s man:
Purrfect: As long as they pet me, I’m good. It’s not very often claws come out. Papa always talks about how much he likes kitties. Cat person I’spose.
Even though Cee Lo sees other cats, the only judges’ lap Purrfect likes to occupy is Cee Lo’s, but she does score cat nip from Blake.
