With the fifth season of MTV’s ground-breaking docu-series 16 & Pregnant set to premiere Monday night, fans are scrambling to find out all they can about the 12 young mothers to be featured. But, we need to remember that for each of these teen moms there is a teen dad out there, too. Tinley Park, Illinois Mayor Ed Zabrocki says MTV is not welcome on Tinley property while filming an episode of 16 and Pregnant featuring local resident Maddy Godsey. We reported back in July that MTV was casting for the fifth season of 16 and Pregnant and we’re now getting confirmation on some of the girls currently being filmed. The first to be revealed is 17-year-old Karley D. from Tooele, Utah. A Texas district court judge has ordered 16 and Pregnant Season 4 cast member Kristina Head (formerly Kristina Robinson) to reimburse Starcasm’s parent company Chicory Media, LLC for attorneys’ fees incurred in the course of successfully defending Kristina’s defamation lawsuit, which was dismissed on July 12, 2013 under the Texas anti-SLAPP (Strategic Lawsuits Against Public Participation) statute designed to protect those exercising their freedom of speech in regards to a matter of public concern. In addition, the court imposed a $10,000 sanction against Kristina, an option permitted under the statute “to deter the party who brought the legal action from bringing similar actions.” Keep reading to find out what the case was about and what other media outlets were named in the suit.
Nikkole Paulun’s gag order was temporarily released by Radar Online so that she could comment on pregnancy hoax rumors. Nikkole also released hospital documents that seem to support her original story.
Even after 16 and Pregnant star Nikkole Paulun revealed in an interview this week that her second pregnancy ended tragically when her 8-month-old son Ashton was stillborn on July 28, allegations that the whole pregnancy was a hoax continue to hound the 19-year-old single mom. The latest to step forward claiming Nikkole’s pregnancy was faked is her close friend of six years, Samantha-Jo Diggs, who said in a telephone interview that Nikkole used a fake baby bump, Photoshopped images of herself, stole baby items from the hospital for a staged photo shoot, and even researched purchasing a tombstone in a cemetery among other things — all to make money. 16 & Pregnant Season 3 star Izabella Tovar and her fiance Jairo Rodriguez have finally set a date for their wedding. The two have been together for about four years now and have been engaged for around two. During a recent holiday, Jairo had a big surprise for his fiancé — a brand new ring! So, in addition to her wedding date reveal, Izabella has also debuted her new bling.
Nikkole Paulun is currently pregnant with her second child, but unfortunately, the circumstances she’s in with the child’s father are not good. In fact, the guy has a girlfriend and the two of them haven’t been very considerate of Nikkole, her feelings, or the unborn child. So, who is the mystery guy? According to Nikkole it’s MMA fighter Mike Sindone.
The fourth season of 16 and Pregnant featured Mackenzie Douthit, a cheerleader from rural Oklahoma, as she carried, delivered and began raising her son, Gannon. We exclusively revealed today that 16 & Pregnant Season 2 star Nikkole Paulun is currently ten weeks pregnant with her second child. As we pointed out in the post, the child is apparently not Josh Drummonds’, the father of Nikkole’s son Lyle, although Nikkole and Josh were engaged just a few months ago. The two broke up after Nikkole was caught cheating (with her new baby’s father) and Josh doesn’t even know about the new pregnancy because he’s currently in jail, and has been for a couple months. So what was he arrested for?
We have some tragic news from the world of 16 and Pregnant. Ashley Salazar’s 23-year-old ex-boyfriend Jordan Baker died in a car crash in Richardson, Texas early this morning. According to a report from WFAA, Baker’s Ford Focus collided with a stationary North Texas Tollway Authority customer service truck that was assisting a disabled vehicle on the left shoulder of the President George Bush Turnpike.

Blake Thomas (Sarah Robert’s red-headed video gamer who took off to pursue a career shrimping in the Atlantic in Season 4) was arrested yesterday in Hamilton County, Tennessee for driving on a suspended license and added this mug shot photo to his pretty impressive HoF resume.
Brooke Smitherman-Tarrant of 16 & Pregnant season 2b gave birth to a baby girl yesterday afternoon. This is the second child for Brooke who along with her husband Cody Tarrant welcomed son Brody in 2010.

Mackenzie Douthit and her boyfriend Josh McKee seemed to be the perfect All-American when they appeared on the fourth season of MTV’s 16 & Pregnant . Sure, they sometimes bickered over Josh’s sport of choice (bull riding), but they seemed to have everything together otherwise and even became engaged months later. Now, a year later, things seem to have taken a turn for the worse.
As we reported earlier this week, 16 and Pregnant alum Nikkole Paulun’s son Lyle had to be rushed to a Toledo, Ohio hospital after having trouble breathing. Soon after being admitted to the hospital, Lyle was moved to intensive care — and doctor’s still didn’t know what was causing his breathing issues! Nikkole has since gotten a diagnosis and updates us on what is ailing Lyle and how he’s doing now.
16 & Pregnant season 2 star Nikkole Paulun is living every parent’s nightmare. Her son, Lyle, was taken to the hospital and as if that weren’t scary enough, he has now been transferred to the Intensive Care Unit. All the while, Nikkole has no idea what even went wrong with him — and neither do his doctors.
16 and Pregnant Season 4 star Kristina Robinson had by far the most emotional story in the show’s history as her fiance, and father of her unborn child, Todd Hight, Jr. drowned off the coast of Texas during filming. After an extremely stressful time that included her son Lukas being born two months early and a falling out with Todd’s family, Kristina seems to have been able to gain some stability in her life with new husband TJ Head. But, things are about to get a little hectic because Kristina just announced she is expecting another son in January!
16 & Pregnant star Jennifer del Rio reportedly filed for sole custody last month because her twins’ father, Josh Smith, was a “huge threat to her family’s safety,” according to TMZ. While she did file for sole custody, the single mom is clearing up a few lingering rumors — and so is Josh.
Jennifer Del Rio and Josh Smith’s explosive relationship was documented during the former’s memorable episode of 16 & Pregnant. There were back and forth accusations between the parents of twin sons Joshua and Noah which later included multiple restraining orders, all kinds of accusations and arrests. Jennifer ended up disappearing but has now surfaced over a 1,000 miles away and is seeking sole custody via the courts.
Ashley Salazar just found out some interesting news. One of her ex-boyfriends is dating her fellow 16 & Pregnant mommy Sarah Roberts — how’s that for a small world? As if that news wasn’t strange enough, Sarah’s baby daddy has some news of his own.. baby news!

As we reported earlier, 16 and Pregnant Season 3 alum Danielle Cunningham was arrested on Saturday after reportedly getting into a heated argument with her grandmother. The 18-year-old single mom was charged with domestic violence after the argument escalated and police were called. At the time of our previous post we were unable to round up a mugshot, but thanks to Busted Mug Shots and Danielle herself, we now have the newest addition to the 16 and Pregnant Alumni Association mug shot collection! Lindsey Harrison has had enough of her baby daddy drama. Not only did she catch her baby’s father Forrest cheating, he allegedly got physical with her in front of their daughter, Aniya! On top of all that, he was allgedly using drugs and had even brought them into their home! Just as we’re all finally dry-eyed after the emotional 16 and Pregnant Season 4 finale with Kristina Robinson, we have another heart-wrenching story from Season 5! 16-year-old Lorelei announced on Twitter that she will be featured on the popular MTV docu-series next season, and has been uncharacteristically very forthcoming with specific details surrounding her pregnancy and her plans to give her daughter Arianna up for adoption, including the shocking announcement this weekend that Arianna was returned to her by her adopted parents because of health issues!
