Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans has had a bad month. In addition to all the legal drama surrounding her falling out with former roommate Hannah Inman, she has had a terrible time of it health-wise. After being diagnosed with strep throat and mono, she had to go in last week for a tonsillectomy. Last night she was back in the hospital after she began coughing up blood, and returned home late last night only to begin coughing up blood again a few hours later. Jenelle expressed her frustration on Facebook and even posted a rather gruesome photo of what her latest coughing fits had produced.

In an effort to cheer her up during a particularly harsh round of chemotherapy last year friends and family threw her a “wedding” in which she received a t-shirt that read, “The Future Mrs. Bieber.” About a week ago her babysitter and her sister set up a Facebook and Twitter page in hopes of getting the attention of Bieber’s camp with the goal of getting Avalanna to meet her hero. The hard work paid off as Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun took notice and flew the Routh family to New York City for some quality time with the Biebs. Jenelle Evans harassment case continued until March 19 because the state had no witness

Leah Messer deletes Facebook page, all but abandons Twitter account after “cheating” episode

In this week’s 90-minute episode of Teen Mom 2 an emotional Leah Messer revealed to her husband Corey Simms that she slept with her ex Robbie Kidd a week before their wedding. As you might imagine, fans responded with an outpouring of tweets and Facebook comments, most of which were condemning Leah for her actions (although there were a large number of fans showing their support as well). Last night’s penultimate episode of Teen Mom 2 was an hour and a half roller coaster of emotions and learning the hard way via the school of hard knocks. We’ve admittedly got a soft spot for our girls and find ourselves pulling for them to break through the very real problems they face and to better themselves for the future of their children. As the curtain closed and we saw Leah overcome with the reality of her impending divorce, I was reminded of a song called “Spare Parts” and thought I’d share it. It’s a reminder that even in these moments in time where each turn seems like a bad one there’s grace, strength, conviction and love to be found.

Amber Portwood says she wants her family back, is willing to remain drug free

During her court hearing yesterday in which a judge accepted her plea deal allowing her to re-enter rehab in lieu of serving jail time, Teen Mom star Amber Portwood said she was committed to her family and being drug free. She also said that once she was released she would finally set up the court-mandated $10,000 college trust fund for her daughter Leah, get her GED, and pay $56 in outstanding court fees. “I understand it’s going to be hard,” she said, “but I have a lot to lose.”

Teen Mom Amber Portwood’s plea deal accepted, headed to rehab instead of jail for now

An Indiana judge has approved Teen Mom star Amber Portwood’s plea deal that would allow her to enter rehab in lieu of serving out a 5-year prison sentence for drug possession and violating her probation. As we reported last week, the deal mandates that Portwood successfully completes the Madison County Drug Court program, and if she has any sort of slip up she will be forced to serve out the prison sentence. The Artist’s Uggie is sick with mysterious shaking disease; retiring after The Oscars

If you haven’t seen the magically entertaining The Artist, you’re missing out on a real heckofan entertaining, whimsical film, and you’re also missing out on the full charms of Uggie, Jack Russell Terrier Extraordinaire. (The Artist is a black-and-white silent film, which sounds boring, but it’s absolutely the best bit of fun you could possibly have at the movie theater, or at your home theater if you DVD it when it comes out.)

Uggie narrowly escaped a trip the pound when trainer Omar Von Muller rescued him and trained him into the skillful actor he is today. 10-year-old Uggie was previously seen in early 2011’s Water for Elephants, but truly won the hearts of the world in his show-stealing performance in The Artist. Unfortunately though, after Uggie massive success (which should result in an Oscar, but we’re award shows are so human-centric,) he’s going to have to retire because he’s suffering from a mysterious shaking illness.

Woman busted in FBI sting for trying to extort Duggar’s cousin, country singer Amy Duggar with “harmless” photos

Teresa Hunt was busted in a FBI sting after she tried to extort $10,000 from the Duggar family, or get them off the air in exchange for not releasing what she called “damning” photos of Duggar first cousin (and aspiring country singer) Amy Duggar.

Hunt actually shopped the photos to Radar Online at some point, who declined to buy the photos. The Radar staff says the photos were “harmless snaps rather than incriminating, damning photos,” and at the time they passed on them they had no idea Hunt was trying to extort the Duggars.
