What happened to that kid from R.E.M.’s “It’s the End of the World As We Know It” video?

Some peeps are trembling in their conspiracy theory boots that tomorrow’s predicted Mayan apocalypse will bring about the end of the world. This doomsday theorizing immediately made me think of one of the very first music videos I ever loved and still one of my favorites, R.E.M.’s “It’s the End Of the World As We Know It (And I Feel Fine)” from their 1987 release Document. Mainly, I wondered what the skateboard wielding kid in the clip was up to these days. Well, I’ve got the answer as well as some photos as we learn from him that life moves on, as it will after Friday.

Earlier today Farrah announced on Twitter that “Hacker Control is happening” and she has since posted a long statement on Sulia addressing the incident.
