Taylor Swift turned 23-years-old on Thursday but had her big day interrupted by an intruder early Friday morning at her Nashville residence.
24-year-old Jacob N Kulke was arrested at 1:45 AM for allegedly hopping a fence to the property. Dude was detained by security and when the authorities arrived he claimed he was the boyfriend of the homeowner.
Kulke elaborated on his story by stating that he had been in contact with someone from the home via social media. He had taken a bus from his home state of Wisconsin to celebrate Swift’s birthday. It’s unknown at this juncture if Taylor was at home when Kulke tried to make his way in.
The mug shot above is from a previous 2010 arrest in which Kulke was convicted of battery, disorderly conduct and drug possession in Wisconsin. He received 13 months probation for those crimes.
This frightening story comes just a couple of days after Swift discussed her fears of stalkers with British Cosmo. She stated in part:
“I get nervous when I have stalker incidents…Sometimes you get a dude who kind of wants to steal you. That’s why I’m so grateful I have people looking after me.” She added, “It’s something you just have to deal with. It’s the price you pay for getting to do what you love. You can let it take over your life and make you fearful all the time, or you can live your life in spite of it.”
