On Tuesdays I normally provide a background post about the star of that night’s episode of 16 and Pregnant – thanks in large part to these girls being social media mavens, which provides lots of information to work with. Unfortunately, this week’s mom – 18-year-old Cleondra Carter of Horn Lake, Mississippi – was a little slow to the social media game and as a result there just wasn’t enough information to put together any sort of biographical overview.
So instead I thought I might employ the age-old blogging tactic of a list of ten – in this case a list of ten facts about Cleondra Carter! Now don’t be too saddened by the news because if you read through the ten things you will discover there are numerous facts lumped together so you’re actually gonna make out like a bandit with superfluous information all over the place! NBC has officially announced their fall line-up and the most talked about new edition is a drama in the vein of Mad Men. The surreal confluence of Jersey Shore meets Italy continues as the cast gets acclimated to their new Tuscan digs – or perhaps it would be more accurate to say “as their new Tuscan digs get acclimated to them.”

Teresa Guidice lost her arch nemesis Danielle Staub from the cast of Real Housewives of New Jersey, but the show’s producers used their magic to pull not one, but three antagonistic rabbits out of their hats to make up for it. Throw that in with the stress of spending money like it’s growing on trees planted in your over-sized, ornate house and then finding out that your husband had been lying about the state of your finances, forging your name on legal docs, filing for bankruptcy behind your back, and committing fraud, it’s really a wonder Teresa isn’t in a mental institution somewhere. How did things get so bad?

What exactly this show is takes some explaining. You can dive straight into and fall in love with the “little round headed buffoon” that is Karl Pilkington, but there’s kind of a complicated back story to how this exquisite cartoon curiosity came about.
Love them or hate them, MTV’s Teen Mom stars have made a heavy mark on our current pop culture landscape, and thanks to a new trend, their legacy will live on much farther than some might think, at least for one particular Teen Mom and her baby.
