Gary Shirley likes to get his tweet on and has been in overdrive following the reports that have surfaced involving his recent arrest for driving with a suspended license.
The arresting officer in the official report stated that his attention was drawn to Gary’s parked Dodge because of a loud verbal argument between a man and a woman and that later on Shirley identified himself and Portwood as Gary Shirley and Amber Portwood from Teen Mom. The report seemed to indicate that Gary and Amber were fighting and that Shirley was name dropping the show in hopes of maybe avoiding arrest.
This couldn’t be further from the truth if you believe what Gary has been tweeting and it’s only fair that we provide his side of the story too. It’s important to remember that Gary has no criminal history as was mentioned in the previous arrest post that included his mug shots.

In summary Gary is saying he identified himself and Amber as part of Teen Mom because Amber didn’t have any ID on her. Amber’s lack of identification was part of the official police report. In addition Gary wants folks to know that he and Amber weren’t fighting but that Amber was upset with someone else. Finally Shirley took responsibility for his arrest admitting it was a big mistake.
