Monday night is the series premiere of ABC’s interactive reality show The Glass House, which is loosely based on CBS’s popular Big Brother. (CBS has argued in court that “loosely based on” is a bit inaccurate and “ripped off” is more like it, but a federal judge disagreed on Friday, allowing ABC to move forward with TGH.) The entire competition, which results in one competitor walking home with a quarter of a million dollars, is all based on fan voting so it’s important that you get to know the contestants. Because there are so many contestants and so much info, we’ve split up the cast into two groups of seven based on sex. Maci Bookout and Kyle King are the couple that Teen Mom fans everywhere are rooting for. They started their relationship on Teen Mom‘s second season and Kyle immediately became a fan favorite. They make an adorable couple and Kyle was a great potential step-daddy to Maci’s son, Bentley. Although they have had their ups and downs, they seem to always make their way back to each other.
Amber Portwood has recently begun serving her five-year prison sentence at the Rockville Correctional Facility in Indiana. She had shockingly requested the sentence after opting out of her drug treatment program. Amber was required to complete the program as a result of a previous arrest.
It looks like “Juicy” Joe Giudice might be going away for at least a little while. The husband of Real Housewives of New Jersey‘s Teresa Giudice was in court Tuesday, where his attorney asked for more time to negotiate a some sort of resolution for his pending criminal fraud and impersonation charges. It looks like, however, that no matter how much time they get to work it out, he is guaranteed to spend some time in the slammer, which could be up to ten years.
Earlier this week, rumors hit the web claiming Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson had tried to get Alexis Bellino fired from the show after the ‘phony intervention’ in Costa Rica. The report claimed that after consoling Alexis following their drama-filled dinner, Vicki went back to the cast and suggested they all write a letter to the heads at Bravo suggesting they give Alexis the boot. The following morning, Vicki confided in the ladies that she had been up all night writing her letter, but none of the other ladies cared to do their part.
It was announced earlier this year that Real Housewives of Miami would return for a second season after a dismal first season. However, the cast needed a face-lift (no pun intended) and two wives got the boot — Larsa Pippen and Cristy Rice. The rest of the women will return as official housewives with the exception of Alexia Echevarria who will return in a limited role.

Back in 2003 Kevin had only been on the force for 2 years when he was called upon to fire on a man who had allegedly pulled a gun on him and a fellow officer. Lauren Manzo has come a long way since we first met her on the season one of Real Housewives of New Jersey. Caroline Manzo’s daughter weighed in at 185 pounds at that time. She is now down 30 pounds, but it didn’t come easy and her critics didn’t make it any easier!
Deena Nicole Cortese of Jersey Shore, the lowest paid cast member, had one heck of a day on Sunday! She was arrested for “disorderly conduct” in Seaside Heights while filming the sixth season of the hit MTV show. Tonight is the beginning of the end for the first mommies of Teen Mom. Catelynn, Maci, and Farrah have been out in full force hitting the promotional circuit as they and the network look to send the series out with a ratings boom. And she has to bring them both along any time she gets a pedicure so that all fifteen of her toes match! (Makes perfect sense – I just never thought bout it before.) If the courts let it happen, ABC’s re-visioned version of Big Brother, The Glass House, is set to premiere in a week. They have released some cast information on the contestants vying for $250,000, first name only, and one of the competitors is Stephanie, a scientist from Boston. The Bean-Town lady’s full name is Stephanie Link and a friend’s heart-felt blog reveals how Stephanie tragically lost her husband overseas and how that experience has strengthened her resolve.

They have announced the cast, first names only, and one of the contestants is Ashley hailing from New Orleans, LA. It turns out that her full name is Ashley Forrestier and she currently lives in Houston after being displaced by Hurricane Katrina. Before becoming a hopeful reality star Ashley was the self described “Creole Queen,” doing her best to make waves in the music bus. For my money, the very best morning news host, Robin Roberts, of Good Morning America has revealed that she’s been diagnosed with MDS or myelodysplastic syndrome. This is a medical problem that came about from her breast cancer treatment she received approximately 5 years ago. The candid Roberts posted a statement explaining what has happened to her and why she fully intends on beating MDS, a disease of the blood and bone marrow that was once called pre-leukemia. MTV producers reportedly sat down with the cast of Jersey Shore in Seaside Heights just before filming began on the sixth installment of the popular reality show began and explained that this would be the last season. “An executive producer announced that this season will be the last,” an insider reveals in the new issue of In Touch, on newsstands now. “She stressed to the cast that fans will remember them for this season, not the first, so they should bring their A game.”
