Teen Mom 2 star Chelsea Houska has been through a lot with her baby daddy/ex-boyfriend Adam Lind. Not only does he come in and out of her life as he pleases, he isn’t always a very good father to their daughter, Aubree. Yesterday, he didn’t even ask to see her — and it was Father’s Day!
Chelsea revealed to fans on Sunday, “He didn’t even ask about Aubree or to have her today….sad.” After all he has put Chelsea through emotionally, you’d think he’d at least step up and be there for their daughter, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. If she can’t count on him to want to be a dad on Father’s Day when can she count on him?
Adam Lind himself spoke out against the claims on Facebook saying he “didn’t even hear anything from Chelsea bout seeing my daughter.” Once Chelsea got word of the post, she tweeted, “It’s not my job to ask him.” A fan later tweeted to her that Adam was a “douche,” to which she replied, “I f***ing know. It seriously makes me cry. It’s so sad.”
Is it really Chelsea’s responsibility to set things up for Adam? If Adam wants to spend time with her, he should take the initiative. She is a great mom to little Aubree and shouldn’t have to go through the trouble of making him see her — especially if he is hesitant. If he doesn’t want to be in her life, he should keep his distance. It only makes it harder on Aubree when Adam is inconsistent. Chelsea recently said the only time he does see her is when he wants to ‘play house’ with his girlfriend.
Chelsea and Adam are currently filming the fourth season of Teen Mom 2 which is sure to, as always, be full of plenty of drama between these two. We hope for Aubree’s sake that Adam eventually grows up and can be the daddy she needs him to be.
