LuAnn de Lesseps wants to be pregnant! Will the Countess have another baby with boyfriend Jacques?

Another baby on the way for 47-year-old Real Housewives of New York star LuAnn de Lesseps?

LuAnn has been dating 37-year-old french wine distributor Jacques Azoulay for over two years, and now she has baby fever! Before she got serious about it, though, she did have a talk with her teenage daughter Victoria (while being filmed for the show, of course!)

At first Victoria looked shocked, and pointed out her mother’s age, but she eventually warmed up to the idea. Victoria suggested that her mom go to a doctor to make sure it’s a healthy thing to do, but LuAnn replied that she had no fantasies about it, she knew she’d probably need some help in the fertility department. Or, as she put it “I think Fertile Myrtle has taken a little wander into the pasture.”

Victoria pointed out one drawback for LuAnn would be having to deal with another teenager.

Victoria’s final verdict: “I’m totally against it. It’s fine. Jacques really nice, so he’s probably make a nice baby.”

LuAnn still doesn’t know if it’s going to happen, but she gets excited just daydreaming about it. “I’ll often think to myself, just five years down the line I’ll have this five-year-old, and how wonderful it would be to have a child with Jacques. I would love for that to happen. I don’t know if its going to be easy, but I’m certainly going to try.”

UPDATE: LuAnn de Lesseps gave an interview to Life & Style about hoping to be a mom at 47.

“We’d love for it to happen. I know Jacques would be a great father,” she told the mag. She said she’s also seeking fertility treatments, but alternative ones, not IVF. “After seeing my doctor, I started going to a fertility center in New York City that specializes in acupuncture, Chinese medicine and massage. Apparently, acupuncture increases your chances by like 50 percent. We thought we’d try the less invasive thing first, and if there comes a point when we’re told it’s impossible, then we’ll discuss options like adoption or surrogacy. But at this point I feel like the possibility is still there.”

Some days, however, LuAnn does have doubts about whether or not it’s the right thing to do, but she’s still optimistic. “The great thing about being in your 40s these days is that there are options. I feel very lucky because of that.”
