The entertainment world was rocked Saturday night by the tragic news that Glee actor Cory Monteith had been found dead in his Vancouver hotel room Saturday just after noon. Cory, who has talked openly before about his struggles with drug addiction, was only 31 years old at the time of his death. Acting Vancouver Police Chief Doug LePard has confirmed Glee star Cory Monteith was found dead in his hotel room Saturday shortly after noon. The 31-year-old actor’s body was discovered in the room on the 21st floor of the Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel after he missed his scheduled checkout time.
