Selena Gomez wants to move out of her mom’s house and start a big family

Selena Gomez recently sat down with Ryan Seacrest for a special one-on-one interview which will air on E! later this week. In the interview, Selena gets candid about everything from moving out of her mother’s house to her ten year plan for a family.

In a new sneak peek at Ryan Seacrest with Selena Gomez, 20-year-old Selena admits that while she loves being at home with her family including mother Mandy and her new baby sister, it’s about time that she branch out and get a place of her own.

“You know I think it’s time,” Selena explains. “I didn’t ever wanna be forceful to saying, ‘OK, I’ve made enough to get my own house and OK, let’s blow it off and do whatever.’ I just love being with my family and I love knowing that they’re there. But yeah, I think it’s probably time for me to get my own house.”

When asked if she has a ten-year plan, Selena told Ryan, “I do, but you just never know how it’s gonna execute. I have goals—personally and in my professional career, too—but what’s in today could be gone tomorrow, so you might not see me in five years.”

Selena, who has been involved in an on-again, off-again romance with Justin Bieber for years, intends to do what she can in order to keep her success going but as she gets older, she says she’d love to have a big family and settle down.

“That’s when everything will probably slow down,” she tells Ryan, adding that her roots have her aching for plenty of children in the future. “I mean, I’m Latin, so…[laughs], I don’t know, obviously when that time comes I’ll decide, but of course I like having a big family.”

Ryan Seacrest With Selena Gomez airs this Sunday, July 21 at 10 p.m.
