As you would have imagined, the episode was an emotional tour de force, but it was handled with the thoughtfulness and gentle kindness that has earned this show such a fanatical following. Autopsy reveals Cory Monteith died of heroin and alcohol

Autopsy and toxicological analysis performed on Glee star Cory Moteith indicate that the 31-year-old actor died from a “mixed drug toxicity, involving heroin and alcohol.” Although officials didn’t say that drugs were found in Cory’s hotel room where his body was found on Saturday, they seemed to suggest that was the case by revealing, “There was evidence in the room that was consistent of a drug overdose.”
