REPORT Producers of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta fired two of the top stars during reunion show

Love & Hip Hop Stars Fired Lil Scrappy and Erica Dixon
VH1’s top-rated reality show reportedly has two big roles to fill before the next season. According to a source who was at yesterday’s reunion show, producers of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta fired Lil Scrappy and Erica Dixon on the spot when they questioned directions.

The inside source, who spoke with Media Takeout, said the drama ironically started when Scrappy and Erica weren’t being raucous enough.

Love & Hip Hop Season 1 Reunion Show

During a commercial break, a producer told Erica and Scrappy they were being “too boring.” Apparently enraged by that comment, but not by the verbal battle between cast members, Erica and Scrappy fired back at the producer. After a few disruptive minutes, the pair was told their services were “no longer needed” and they were told to leave the set.

With that kind of final impression, it’s doubtful that Erica and Scrappy will get invited back for the third season. That will leave a big void on the show considering their whole relationship is characterized by drama. (They first dated in 2002, but have broken up and gotten engaged a number of times since then.)

Catch all the drama — both with the pair and the other cast members — during the Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta Reunion Show, which will likely air on July 29 at 8/7 p.m. CST.
