Last night our girls from Teen Mom 2 got things started for another season on the roller coaster ride of being a young mother. A detailed finding by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is reporting that the birth rates for young women are historically low. Being a site that reports frequently on Teen Mom and 16 & Pregnant and holds firmly to the belief that these shows in no way glorify teen pregnancy these findings make me want to say….. Nanny-nanny-poo-poo! In fairness the correlation between the current recession and this decline is the primary factor cited. I stumbled upon this gem of a commercial that was put together by MTV Latin America for Teen Mom. It really is a wonderful and touching spot as it takes the concept of an innocent teddy bear and transforms it into what should be the responsible decision making of a teen mother.
