Good Morning America is losing the greatest name in weather as it was announced today that Sam Champion will be leaving the show after seven years to host a morning show and serve as managing editor for The Weather Channel. Filling Champion’s shoes will be another fun-monikored meteorologist as ABC announced Ginger Zee will be replacing SamCham as the GMA weekday weather anchor. It appears that the headline-grabbing barbeque-themed backdoor pilot episode of Best Funeral Ever was successful enough to merit the return of TLC cameras to the Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas to bring viewers more over-the-top themed funeral services as part of a seven-episode run of Best Funeral Ever. The series premieres tonight at 10/9c with two back-to-back half-hour episodes with four total funerals, including services with bowling, wedding, Olympics and breakfast themes. Keep reading for more info on what to expect thi season as well as a preview clip of a service for the breakfast-loving Quinton that included a milk carton lectern, people dressed in pancake, bacon and egg costumes, a fruit-adorned casket, cereal boxes and more with Quinton’s likeness, a choir singing a custom breakfast hymn, and pancakes, eggs and bacon for everyone cooked on the spot. Is TLC’s Breaking the Faith fake or real?

TLC drew a lot of criticism for its Breaking Amish reality series after it was later revealed that all of the cat member had left their respective Amish and Mennonite communities long before taping began. As you might expect, when TLC announced they would be airing a similar series based on former members of the controversial Warren Jeffs led FLDS (Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints) titled Breaking the Faith (premiering tonight at 10/9c), many were skeptical just how truthful the series would be. Judging from evidence gathered so far, it appears TLC is sticking to their tried and relatively untrue formula by casting actual former FLDS members, but then having them act out a scripted narrative.

This Sunday is the premiere of TLC’s new series Breaking the Faith which “shares the story of eight young men and women who are trying to build a new life outside of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (known as the FLDS).” Earlier this week we shared photos and bios of all the cast members and today the network released the first extended preview trailer, which is a frighteningly dramatic look at the situations faced by the 5-10,000 people living under the “brainwashing” tactics of the FLDS and its leader, Warren Jeffs.

Buckwild’s Salwa Amin pleads guilty to drug charge, shares sobriety struggle with fans

Former Buckwild star Salwa Amin pleaded guilty Monday to one count of conspiracy to possess with intent to deliver a controlled substance stemming from her February drug arrest. The 25-year-old originally faced an additional charge of possession with intent to distribute heroin and oxycodone, but that charge was dropped as part of a plea deal that included Salwa attending inpatient rehab for her addiction — which she has since successfully completed prior to moving into a sober living house.
