The tragic suicide of 14-year-old Jamey Rodemeyer has garnered national attention after it was discovered the young man had posted an “It Gets Better” video to encourage other kids in his situation to keep their heads up. Lady Gaga has taken up his cause and now his parents are trying to do something about the bullying that took their son’s life.

In an interview with Today they revealed that even in death, he continues to be bullied. This revelation took me by surprise, as that level of angst and intolerance is hard to comes to grip with or even understand.
