If you want to be a mother you’ve got to laugh with your friends. Former Spice Girl Mel B, real name Melanie Brown, gave birth to a baby girl in Los Angeles last night.
The little bundle of joy is Mel’s 3rd and her first with husband Stephen Belafonte. The couple’s publicist confirmed the joyful news:
“This evening Melanie Brown and husband Stephen Belafonte welcomed their new baby girl in Los Angeles. This is the first child for Mel and Stephen and both mum and baby are happy, healthy and doing well.”
In a sign of the times the new mother managed to hit up her Twitter account just hours after giving birth to update her followers on how it went down. Here’s what momma Mel tweeted:
If you’ve been through this as a parent you can feel Mel B’s relief as she was trying everything she could think of to have her baby. “Hot food, running, sex, nipple tweaking, I’ve tried it all. It just seems to be stuck and hibernating in there getting bigger and bigger, so it’s coming out this week for sure.” She was right on about the forecast and we say congratulations to the family’s latest addition.
As of this post those been no particulars about the baby’s weight, name etc… Let’s just hope they don’t name her, “a zigazig ha.”
