Nearly a million people tuned in for the season premiere of A&E’s new geeky tat show Epic Ink last Wednesday as viewers were introduced to the über-nerdy and über-talented artists at Oregon’s Area 51 Tattoo Studio. Viewers were also introduced to receptionist, and self-proclaimed “Nerdio Translator,” Caroline Russell, who is just nerdy enough and just normal enough to serve as the perfect liaison between inkers and inkees. UPDATE – BET President Stephen Hill has issued an apology and says “we have taken punitive actions with those responsible.”

It appears that after the premiere a number of fans were asking cast member Nettie Stanley why Sheen wasn’t on the show any more, so Nettie shared our post on her Facebook wall as an explanation. The sports world is in shock right now as reports are flooding in on social media from eyewitnesses at a sprint car race at New York’s Canandaigua Motorsports Park who are claiming NASCAR driver Tony Stewart hit driver Kevin Ward, who was on foot, with his car after the two were involved in an accident on the previous lap.

The film is a raucously joyful roller coaster that perfectly balances action, humor and heart thanks to an amazing cast of actors portraying an amazing cast of characters — all of which are handled wonderfully by director James Gunn!
