I’m normally pretty good at tuning out commercials, but while recently binge-watching an entire season of Bob’s Burgers on Hulu I continually found myself losing focus on whatever I was trying to accomplish in the couple of minutes I had available (usually flinging Angry Birds or checking what odd combinations of words put into Google recently brought people to the site) whenever the “Happy Anniversary” Cortana phone app commercial came on.
“Wait, I know this voice!” I told myself the first time I heard it. By the end I knew who it was — or at least who I thought it sounded like: Lord Scott Disick! Now, every time the commercial comes on, I find myself listening intently and wavering back and forth on my certainty. There are some lines when it doesn’t really sound like Scott, but then there are some that are spot on Scott.

It’s always been a mystery exactly what Scott Disick does for a living, if anything, and I suppose occasional voice-over work does seem like it would fit his rather casual obligation-averse worldview. Of course, this is assuming that he has retired from modeling for young adult romance novels. (That still may be my favorite Kardashian family post of all time, narrowly beating out Kris Jenner’s awe-inspiring 1980s birthday video “I Love My Friends.”)
All I know is that I’d probably trade in my iPhone if its version of Siri sounded (and acted) like Scott Disick! “Scott, where is the nearest McDonald’s?” Scott: “How would I know?” (Just typing that made me feel a little more like Kourtney!) 😉
