Chris Brown goes all Chris Brown on Twitter, calls DA racist, explains why he paints monsters

Singer Chris Brown was ordered to do 1,000 more hours of community service last week after it was determined by a judge that he had submitted false records while completing his initial 1,400 hours as part of his sentence for brutally beating his girlfriend Rihanna back in 2009. Chris managed to remain relatively quiet about the court’s decision, but he couldn’t hold back about the injustice any longer and unleashed on Twitter late last night by calling the District Attorney in the case a racist and venting about the legal system, which he refers to as “u bitchass ni**as and this bitchass system.” Oh, and he explains why he likes to draw monsters with spray paint. (Yes, it’s related.)

Mug shot photos of 2 Chainz and 10 others arrested after OK tour bus stand off

Rapper 2 Chainz and ten others were arrested early this morning after their tour bus was stopped by police in Oklahoma City right around midnight for a busted tail light. Officers reportedly noticed “signs of drug use” and asked those in the bus to exit, but they refused and demanded a search warrant. The locked bus (with the men still in it) was towed to the police training center while officers went through the process of getting a search warrant. The warrant was obtained around 9AM, at which point the eleven men (including 2 Chainz) exited the bus and were arrested for misdemeanor complaints of obstruction. It’s been three days since Usher and Tameka Raymond’s son Usher Raymond V nearly drowned in a terrifying pool accident on Monday, and today Tameka shared a photo of little Usher V in the hospital where he is recovering from the incident. Along with the photo, which features Tameka holding her son in one frame and “Get Well Soon” balloons and gifts in the other, Tameka included a heartfelt message expressing her love for her son and thanks to God and the worker who pulled Usher V from the pool.

The almost always positive Jennifer Love Hewitt abandoned Twitter back in early July, just a month after announcing she was pregnant with her first child, citing “negativity,” “bad vibes” and even “threats” as the reason for her departure. Since that time, fans have seen, heard, and read very little from Jennifer, aside from an appearance at Old Navy’s “Mickey Through The Decades Collection” launch event back on July 13. But, earlier today, The Client List star was photographed in a Los Angeles park conducting an hour-long pregnancy workout with a personal trainer. The 34-year-old expectant mom looked very happy (as usual) and very pregnant!

Katy Perry has promised fans that her next album Prism will be darker and more mature than her previous pop endeavors, and being the marketing maestro that she is, she’s doing the reveal in stages via social media leading up to the album’s release on October 22. The latest reveal was in the form of the cover art for the first single from the album titled “Roar,” which doesn’t seem very dark, and I don’t know about being all that “more mature” either — although there is a noticeable lack of whipped cream shooting out of her boobs.

VH1 officially green-lights LeAnn Rimes & Eddie Cibrian show, issues press release

Singer LeAnn Rimes confirmed back in May that she and husband Eddie Cibrian would be getting their own show, saying at the time, “We’re doing a TV show based on our reality,” before adding, “We’ll take things out of our lives and elaborate them and make them funny. People have been laughing at us – we want them to laugh with us!” Today VH1 confirmed they will be the home of the pseudo-scripted series, which will be six half-hour episodes and will premiere in Fall 2013/Winter 2014. Chris Brown goes to jail for hit-and-run charge

Chris Brown pulled the swaparazzi on Monday by turning himself in to police one day earlier than expected for his hit-and-run case, thus avoiding photographers upon his arrival. The 24-year-old singer reportedly showed up at the Van Nuys, California jail at around 2PM Pacific time, just a few hours after rapper 50 Cent made an appearance in the courthouse adjacent to the jail. Brown was later released on his own recognizance with no bail.
