2014 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees include Nirvana, Kiss, Hall & Oates

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame announced its 2014 inductees this week and the new class includes bands Nirvana and KISS, solo performers Peter Gabriel, Linda Ronstadt and Cat Stevens, as well as the duo Hall & Oates. Linda Ronstadt diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease and “can’t sing a note”

Linda Ronstadt says she has lost the ability to sing after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease eight months ago. Ronstadt, 67, opens up in a new AARP article, revealing that she believes she may have first started showing signs of the disease as far back as eight years ago, but attributed the symptoms to a tick disease. She also had shoulder surgery that she thought caused the shaking in her hands.
