Lifetime’s movie adaptation of V.C. Andrews’ best-selling thriller Flowers In the Attic was a HUGE success when it premiered to well over 6 million viewers back on January 18, and today the network announced that the sequel, Petals On the Wind, will be making it’s debut on Memorial Day weekend with Rose McIver, Wyatt Nash and Bailey Buntain taking on the roles of the older Dollanganger siblings! Lifetime also announced it has already committed to three more V.C. Andrews projects, two from the Dollaganger series and one standalone.
Outrage is building over details that recently emerged about a rape case from 2009 in which Robert H. Richards IV, a wealthy du Pont family heir, was given no prison time after pleading guilty to raping his three-year-old daughter. Delaware Judge Jan Jurden said in her sentencing order that Richards “will not fare well in prison.”
Tonight was the UK premiere of Darren Aronofsky’s epic biblical big screen adaptation Noah and the event featured a “flood carpet” for the stars to walk on that created the illusion of walking on a torrent of water. Fans of A&E’s thriller drama series Those Who Kill starring Chloe Sevigny were shocked when the show was pulled by the network earlier this month after only two episodes. Judge Joe Brown found himself on the other end of a no-nonsense judge’s ruling Monday when he was sentenced to five days in jail for contempt of court charges after several outbursts in Memphis juvenile court.
