Turns out Chrisley didn’t know best. Todd and Julie Chrisley are headed to prison to serve out their combined 19 year sentences for tax fraud and evasion. Though the two requested to extend their surrender date by 21 days, bail was denied.

The Chrisley Knows Best stars must report to prison January 17.

In addition to Julie Chrisley’s 7-year prison sentence and Todd Chrisley’s 12-year prison sentence, which should begin in January of 2023, the former reality star couple also have to pay back more than $17 million in restitution to their victims. The staggering amount owed likely means that the duo will have to sell both of their Tennessee mansions purchased in 2016 and 2019.

UPDATE – After researching property records, Starcasm was able to determine that the Chrisleys got rid of their Belle Meade property in March of 2017, which was less than three months after they purchased it in December of 2016.
