American Idol Season 6 winner Jordin Sparks co-hosted the grand opening of the Tao Beach season at The Venetian in Las Vegas on Saturday, and the 24-year-old singer showed off her trimmed-down figure on the red carpet in a neon two-piece swimsuit! “BIG step for me to wear something like this on a carpet,” Jordin said of the event. “Yeah, yeah, yeah I know it was for a pool party…but for ME, this was HUGE. I’m still learning more about my health & body confidence everyday!”

Since winning season 6 of American Idol Jordin Sparks has went on to prove the judges right. She has the highest selling single, “No Air” of any AI contestant and she’s also made a well received debut on Broadway with In The Heights. With all of this success I guess there wasn’t much else for our girl to do but slim down and blast Twitter-space with a “fruity pebbles” themed bikini bod pic.
